In the afternoon of 4 August, Mr. Xu Dazhe, the general manager of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation had an interview with Mr. Wang Rong, the acting mayor of Shenzhen Municipality at Wuzhou Guesthouse. The executive deputy major, Mr. Xu Qin and the other municipal leaders Liang Daoxing, Li Ming and Li Ping etc. also attended the interview.
Mr. Xu Dazhe and Mr. Wang Rong held in-depth discussions on the subject relating to the participation in the construction of the security system for the Universiade 2011 Shenzhen by the Corporation.
During the symposium, on behalf of the party committee and the government of Shenzhen Municipality, Mr. Wang Rong expressed his warm welcome to Mr. Xu Dazhe and the entourage; he also expressed the gratitude for the contributions made to the economic development of the city by the Corporation. Mr. Wang further denoted that as an important hi-tech industrial base of the country, Shenzhen possesses favorable environment in terms of industry, talents, technology and market facing both domestic and foreign sides; during recent years, the city’s self-reliant innovation competence has been incessantly improved and the development trend is pretty strong; besides, the Universiade that attracts the attention of the whole world will also be held here soon. He believed that in the process of “holding games to accelerate the development of the city”, the collaboration in the field of security between the Corporation and Shenzhen will bear good results. He also promised that the party committee and the government of Shenzhen Municipality would definitely create the best environment and provide the optimum services to fully support the development of the Corporation in this city.
Mr. Xu Dazhen, in the beginning of his speech expressed his congratulation to Mr. Wang for his appointment as the acting major of Shenzhen. He introduced that following the successful completion of the security system and information security system for the Beijing Olympic Games, the Corporation has also signed the general contracts for the security technology systems for EXPO 2010 Shanghai, the Asia Games in Guangzhou and the parading ceremony for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Shenzhen is the “top brand name” in terms of the construction of innovative city; from “a safe Universiade” to “a safe city”, Shenzhen possesses advantageous conditions and the Corporation hopes that, with its successful experience in the security works for the Olympic Games and the advantage of aerospace technology, the Corporation may actively take part in the construction of the security system for the Universiade Shenzhen and play the important role of a central government controlled enterprise engaged in the military industry thus meeting the target of melting in and serving the economic development of Shenzhen.
After the meeting, souvenirs of commemorative significance were exchanged between the two parties; both the host and guests were quite delighted.
Just before the meeting, Mr. Xu earnestly listened to the work report presented by the management of our Shenzhen Company. Although it was in a time of typhoon, Mr. Xu went to the Electrical Branch of Shenzhen Company for survey and research while braving the gale and torrential rain; he met the employees of Shenzhen Company, listened to the subject report regarding the development ideas and visualization of electrical business and also made important directives. Mr. Xu was happy to see a workforce of vitality in Shenzhen. He pointed it out that, the corporate development depends not only on the competence of innovation, market exploration and internal control, it is on talents ultimately. Shenzhen Company possesses due innovation competence and strong marketing capability; it has made notable progress since its founding; in the future, to better develop itself, in addition to the great ambition to hold the position of No.1, to do a sound work starting from now is something more important; the detailed works including market survey and acquisition audit must be well performed. Mr. Xu also analyzed and answered the difficulties in the development raised by Shenzhen Electrical Branch one by one and assigned the departments accountable for assistance on site. Before leaving, Mr. Xu joked that he became younger with a vigorous team in Shenzhen. He hoped that the people working here have good life and development.
